Ulysses wont accept my quest

SO I'm playing on my Buccaneer and i finish the medusa dungeon and report back to medea. and she teleported me to the humble cave and my quest marker tells me to talk to ulysses. but the question mark above his head is still grey. Is there any way to fix this??
