how do you beat the spirit with the 5th t-ball

i am a level 50 with quest to get the 5th turtle ball from the spirit who can summon helephants and other enemies which is hard i have watched walkthroughs but they include luck something i don't have so how do i win

First consider that the evil spirit is the one calling more enemies, get rid of him first! A passive, 'hang back and shoot at him' tactic won't work. Who are the strongest melee fighters on your crew, use them! You hang back and support and snipe, use doubloons, summon help.
