What situation is your pirate in?

Hello. Don't expect any food, ever. I have pizza. That's it.
So, what is the situation your pirate is currently in? Is he/she... wanted in 2 realms for treason? Do they, for some reason, owe The Frogfather a favor and are stranded on an island? EXAMPLE:
Kai Alcott is wanted in all realms, dead or alive, for almost every crime you can be guilty of.
He somewhat hates Avalon, due to a war a bit back between the Brotherhood and a small bit of Avalon's army.
He likes eagles, and often prefers them to human company.
Many people, (Pirates, Knights, Bartenders, Pirate-Knights, Wizards, and Cutthroats) hate him, and hunt him (and every other assassin). They usually attack until their weapon (almost) hits. Kai prefers to run away over fighting, however, and often only lives because of it. Almost always has a team of unicorns following him, and the cutthroats not too far behind.

That's a good question, Kai. A nice thread to begin. I have a tendency to run terribly honorable and kind-hearted pirates, so mostly following the story line conventionally, I see them something like this, with Anne as my primary example:

Anne is feeling the happy flush of her successes in the various worlds of the Spiral. In Cool Ranch she is hailed as a law-abiding hero in the Chicken towns, and an honored friend of the Bison tribes in their villages, enjoying comfortable friendships in both worlds. Children of all sorts love her for her friendliness and willingness to stop and tell them stories or play with them... and the fact that she usually carries candy in her pockets that she will happily share. In Skull Island and Mooshu, where Anne often has had to deal with the more criminal elements of society, she is known as particularly reliable and honest -- traits that could get her perhaps easily taken advantage of, but she is usually sheltered from this by Ratbeard's and Catbeard's underworld-savvy advice (and Ratbeard's reputation doesn't hurt when he gives the hairy eyeball to those who would try to pull one over on his rather naïve captain).

In Aquila, she is of course honored by the Eagles as one of the great heroes in the siege of Troy, but she has earned some cautious respect (some, not a lot) from the Ophidians trying to broker a peace treaty, an attempt that is thus far unsuccessful (This of course, is not in the story line, but could happen, surely). However, the fact that she was instrumental in starting the War in Marleybone shadows all her successes, with the result that Anne rightly feels unworthy of the accolades that come her way. In her more reflective moods Anne doesn't know whether she fears the Marleybonians she respects finding out about her role in the War, bringing shame upon her head (and surely punishment as well) or that she would be relieved by the open truth, so she could make a clean breast of it and do penance fairly.

Ooh, this is interesting...

Destiny Devereaux currently resides in Marleybone. Having come to a halt in her investigation of the clockwork birds in both Valencia and Aquila, she bought a small home in the Isle of Dogs and is currently penning a memoir of her adventures to keep handy. Due to her extended stay and rest in Marleybone, Destiny was hired for Special Intelligence as a detective and can be found lurking the streets and sewers. Her temporary job has found her sociable and well-known by the street-folk of the Isle. Her galleon, the Baskerville Firebrand, stays waiting at the docks.
With that in mind, it has been a very long time since Destiny has checked in on Skull Island, having started a few quarrels with major pirating groups in her earlier years that she doesn't care to revisit. Monquista, Mooshu, and Aquila hold Destiny as a war hero of many types, though she seldom returns if not to rebuild and restart villages destroyed in her own processes. Her philosophy is that whatever comes down in haste will in one way or another have to be rebuilt by their destroyer. That philosophy seems to haunt Destiny today, but she puts up with it by helping. Cool Ranch, being one of the few places that she didn't blow to bits, remains as a favorite travel destination for her.

Kenneth is one of those kinds who has to lay low, but isn't afraid to the whole Monquistan realm hates him. He's a friend of the bison, the other inhabitants not so much. He's wanted for almost everything he's done in Marleybone, for attempt of assassination of a high general to hijacking a ship. Skull Island is no-man's land for him.Every rat, shark, and scurvy dog wants him for every reason possible. He prefers of course to stand in fight, so he keeps a pistol strapped to his side, and his sniper ready.

David percy is liked in every world but cool ranch. Its to say that he burned down 3 towns, robbed 2 banks, and
mock the bison tribe. David always had cast curses on chicken rangers and even on the chicken miners to have a good laugh. By time David was down with cool ranch every town had a wanted poster of him. He now rest in marleybone struggling to finish to calm the warzone.

-pushes pizza away, but smiles gratefully anyway- I apologize, I am not a fan of Valencian food....

Emma Everhart is in a kind of mediocre situation. She stays within the laws of most places, yet she can't resist pickpocket ing just a little. Monquista, Valencia, and Skull Island are on her list of worlds that annoy her, and she's committed a few crimes in each. But she's well known in Cool Ranch and Marleybone for acts of valiance and loyalty toward her homelands. She's shown slight reluctance to help out non-foxes when it comes to Albion due to incidents of her past, but as she is, she never was one to turn down such a thing, even when it came at a cost of her own. As for Cool Ranch, she's well known in santo pollo, albeit the facts that the Banditoads remember and still do not appreciate her visits to her original home, but she carries around her Phoenix Breath cannon for a reason.
She currently has a home a bit off the coast of Marleybone, despite that she gave it some Cool Ranch touches for two pieces of home. She's busy in Aquila, and all she's assuming from these eagles is that they are lazy and appreciate forcing others to do their dirty work. She's not very happy there, but admits she loves the scenery of the place, even if it's no Cool Ranch sunset or Marleybonean night.

Ciao!

On the exterior, Seamus Donnelly is a noble servant of the Crown, working with Special Branch and the Navy, but his true allegiances lie with Albion. Using Special Branch as a cover, he is actually a double agent in touch with the rebellious Albion Republican Army. Well liked in virtually every world excluding the Big Sky in Cool Ranch, where he 'accidentally' destroyed a temple to Thunderbird, he resides in his father's empty manor near Dublin City.

Ohh that would be an interesting story to hear. Perhaps a Fan Fiction submission?

wonderful tops Kai! Now where to begin…
Nimble Alexander Hobbes has enemies of a large variety. The Valencian Brotherhood is still on his heels for driving one of their esteemed heads insane. Special Branch is usually keeping an eye on him, just to be on the safe side. Cutthroats of all sort hate him for more reasons than I could write. The list goes on and ALex doesn't find them as mush as a threat (usually), but as an exercise that he uses to adapt to various situations. As you can see, that and being an insatiable prankster gets him into a LOT of trouble.
Cunning Sebastian Nicols suffers from internal conflict. Originally apart of the Monquisition, the Opposition has brought to peace problems that he silently questioned and is sort of tearing him apart (especially the Banana and the tree debate). He is also a loose cannon, obsessed with explosives and extremely trigger happy, he is still learning how to contain his enthusiasm at the right times. Personally, I fear the day he learns about greek fire.
Of all my pirates, Omar is in the deepest situations. He has never been able to truly stay in one place and settle down because every time he tries something happens that causes him to leave and once more he sleeps under the stars. Another thing is that he considers himself strictly neutral in conflict, though time and time again he is forced to unwillingly take a side of jump sides to survive (an exemption being the Armada). The biggest problem, however, has haunted him since he left Krokotopia. His "Accident" with the Well of Spirits has sent him on a quest to bind his services to potent spirits so that he could finally gather enough power to break the power of the spirits of the Well who have gone out of their way to drag him back into the Well permanently, even taking the souls of his friends in Krok. Because of this, Omar is determined not only to free himself from the Spirit's shackles, but to free all those who suffer and will suffer in his stead.
