Okay, does anyone else get the impression that Tim and Perry are tributes to:

1) Simon and Garfunkel (who were originally known as Tom and Jerry) when you go to search for musical instruments for them, and

2) Penn and Teller (Teller being the silent friend) when you seek magical items?

Yeah, there are a lot of little references and tributes throughout the game.

Take the Rat Pack for example. During the late 50's and early 60's, the Rat Pack was the name for a group of actors/singers who were good friends and happened to act together in a number of movies. They mainly centered around three actors/singers; it was said that when one was scheduled for a performance, the others would show. Their names? Dean Martin, Sammy Davies, Jr., and Frank Sinatra (who, in 1973, came out of his retirement with an album called, Ol' Blue Eyes is Back). Sound familiar?

As the fella once said, ain't that a kick in the head?

You can include Joey Bishop ( comedian ) and Jerry Lewis or Louis Jerry as he's known in game ( actor/comedian ) to that list of Rat Pack members.

The Rat Pack reference was blatant. The Simon & Garfunkel/Penn & Teller reference is more subtle.
