How did the Toymaker die?

I thought the scene within the Machine with all the player's crew escorting Gazpaccio in was pretty interesting, and very effective in making Kane seem like a viable threat. But I wonder, given Boochbeard's explanation that sparkthrowers are merely stun weapons ("stun your enemies into submission!") how did Kane's pistol kill Gazpaccio?

Well this is a fairly simplistic explanation but is it not possible that Gazpaccio was just old? meaning that a shock like that directly to the heart would probably be to much for him to handle hence his death. I think that would probably do it.

It seems some of the animation that was in test is not in live, so seeing what happens to G is a mystery to some.

1.Bullets are outlawed not unusable.

2. The cutscene IS in live.

The lack of animation happens when you enter as a team, it's a glitch. If you do the dungeon solo all the animations and camera angles run perfectly.

Here is how it happened: Gazpaccio came to kane telling him to stop the madness with the heart in his hand.
Then Kane shot the heart then he stated, "Why stop at one heart" and then he shot Gazpaccio!
Then he just gives a long lecture about the Map and how he made his own.

Hope that helped. Orlando

I don't think it's that bullets are "outlawed," they just don't exist (E10+). Also Kane was clearly shooting a burst of electricity.

Bullets do exist, because back when we're fighting the Duck of Death in Cool Ranch; we had to make bullets out of silver and have them blessed in order to kill the Duck of Death.

It's possible that there is some guns that are made solely as sparkguns, while other guns can carry spark bullets and actual bullets

Kane must have known that he was old and weak and that the shot would stop his heart. It makes sense actually, we can tell Gazpacio is indeed very old. We didn't see and blood so I don't think it was a bullet if your dead you can't go into shock so he would have bled. Or maybe the gun Kane used was "improved" with a high voltage round that would have shocked anyone to death regardless of age and health.
