Caltrips question

Banditoads are walking through caltrips in deck side combat, at the caltrips on my ship. Do traps only work against you on your own ship?

Yes, enemies can walk through caltrips placed on your ship without injury. These are seen as traps placed by the enemy. This is also why players can walk over their own bear trap without fear.
