Grizzleheim

I have an idea for Grizzleheim, once again (just like Wiz) as a side world. Basically, you talk to Gortez and he tells you they need more help in the war they are fighting. A powerful Necromancer is now aiding the enemy Monquistans, so Gortez asks you to seek out the legendary barbarians of Grizzleheim and request aid! Once you get access to the world from the storm gate, you seek out Valgard GoldenBlade (which, if I remember correctly, is the king of Grizzleheim in Wiz101) and soon realize Grizzleheim is in the midst of a war already. The wolves have made a mysterious alliance with the ravens and the king conscripts you to help him.

He tasks you with lead a group of bears into battle against a nearby wolf camp. On your way back, you are ambushed by a wolf (cutscene). It moves so quickly it is a blur, and without warning, it cuts each bear (they don't die but are wounded). The wolf stops, and makes eye contact. It's fur is pitch black, as are its pupils. The beast has a long scar across its face. The wolf snarls, then says in a deep and vicious voice, "This is a warning. Go home, Pirate. This war is none of your concern." And just like that, the wolf vanishes into nothingness.

You and the bears return home, and get back to the king. After Valgard inspects the wounded bears and listens to what you say, he pales, and looks frightened. "No... It cannot be... The ShadowMaulers died out long ago..."

The bears have been cursed by the claw wounds they received at the fate of that dark Wolf, and so you must find a cure for this. There is an ancient library long forgotten by the bears that the King tells you may contain the secrets. You find the library, only after spending a long time searching. Once you find it, a spirit inside guides you to the right book. You need 4 rare ingredients to make the potion/cure. You must track each one down, and then you brew the potion, narrowly making it in time to save the bears.

Meanwhile, the ravens are closing in from the northern border, and the capital city is soon flooded with refugees. While Valgard GoldenBlade is trying to set up a trap for the Wolf, or rather ShadowMauler, you previously encountered, he tasks you with pushing the Raven's forces back. You succeed, then you help refortify the area. After securing it, you return to the capital to find the King is missing. Valgard's Commander In Chief tells you he was captured by a group of Ravens led by a powerful Raven Sorcerer. The border attack had been a diversion, all the while that small group were marching to the capital! The Commander tells you the only way they could have entered the Keep without notice is if someone let them in. "There is a traitor in our midst," he says.

The Ravens left no trace, and so you must find the traitor to find him. There are 2 suspects, the Gate Captain, the Royal Chamberlain. With the help of the Commander In Chief, you trick the traitor into thinking the coast was clear, so they leave. Following them, you find the Chamberlain is the culprit, and you follow him to a cave a few days away. Inside, you fight the Sorcerer and his lackeys and rescue the king. The sorcerer got his orders from the King of the Wolves.

He tells you the capital is no longer safe, and so you flee to an outer village. Disguised as a peasant, he takes residence in an abandoned warehouse with only the guards he trusts most, including his Commander In Chief. The king says he thinks he may know of a way to trap the ShadowMauler. You and his soldiers put the plan inaction. Using bait of some kind, the creature takes it. Using a special elixir you previously brewed, you manage to slow the ShadowMauler to the point where you could fight it.

The ShadowMauler is named Scarface, and he is a BOSS, both literally and figuratively. You fight him in a 4v1, with all 3 companions and the Pirate. However, he has many epics, several guarenteed critical hits, including wounds on all his hits. He has a hide, and gets multiple attacks per turn. When defeated, A dark spirit is released from him. Before you can capture or kill it, the spirit vanishes, leaving its host body behind. The Wolf, previously a ShadowMauler, now has slightly lighter fur color (dark gray), with silver pupils. Scarface had previously been an extremely powerful Wolf Warlord under the Wolf King's army, but the Wolf King began doing dark experiments on him, which resulted in the creation of a ShadowMauler. This is terrible news for the Bears, because it means the Wolf King has successfully created a ShadowMauler, which, if he were to make an army, would be unstoppable, and could conquer the entire spiral! Feeling betrayed, Scarface decides to join your crew in order to get revenge on his former King.

The King realizes if he does not act soon, all will be lost. Gathering all the forces he can spare, you, alongside the Bears, attack the wolves. With the aid of a master plan designed by the Commander In Chief, they use guerrilla tactics as well as diversions, disguising weak attacks as strong ones, and vice versa. The King manages to get you and Scarface inside the capital. Due to a clever spell, you are both disguised as Wolves. You sneak into the Keep while the Bears storm the opposite side with a large force, and most of the guards leave to fight off the bears. Inside the keep, you silence the guards and enter the throne room. The throne is empty, but a door is open off to one side.

You go inside and find it is a secret tunnel system leading to a laboratory. Fighting all manner of disfigured and almost alien creatures, you finally find the Wolf King. He is meeting with a Raven Archmage and a different Bear tribe's (from the only Bear tribe supporting the wolves) Warlord. You and your companions, and Scarface are outmatched! The Raven Archmage is a witchdoctor with many epics, as well as several powers. The Bear Warlord is a buccaneer, and has a TON of armor and several epics, reckless frenzy power, as well as a brutal charge and a block damage. The King is now a Zombie Wolf! He as experimented on himself and become an undead Wolf. He is a Swashbuckler with the most epics, life drain, summons, a super strike, and a swashbuckler's stab.

On round 2, reinforcements for the Pirate arrive, including the Commander In Chief and the Bear King. The Commander In Chief and Bear King are moderately strong, but not as strong as the enemy bosses. Anyway, when you beat them, the Bear troops take over the castle. The war is won (almost... The Ravens aren't nearly as strong so the King no longer needs your assistance) Scarface thanks you for helping him get his revenge, and decides he wants to join the Pirate's crew.

Scarface is a companion all classes get... he is a swashbuckler, his attacks involve mainly his claws (or maybe an axe idk), but the best part is he has a hide and one guaranteed critical strike with a wound. Anyway, the Bear King declares you a hero to the realm, and sends reinforcements to Gortez, while making sure he keeps enough troops to finish the war he is in.

And there you have it Hope you like my idea!

This is all too much like Wizard101's quest line in Grizzleheim. Even though we have similar worlds to W101, we always go to different areas, as seen in MooShu and Marleybone.
IF we get Grizzleheim ( & we've been waiting for it nearly the 7 years of this game ) it will be a different area, no Wintertusk or Ranvenholm, etc.
We have a direct connection to Grizzleheim from an origin choice and Erica the Red.
Gortez has already won his battle for the throne of Monquista, he doesn't need our help at all.

Grizzleheim is one of my favorite worlds. The Grizzly Beast Booster Pack was my favorite pack and the bear companions are very desirable.

I'm glad to see you've been thinking about what pirates could do when we finally get to visit -- I'd really love to meet the families of our bear companions.
